JOSHUA TIME 10

THE FOUNDATIONS

I’m a twenty-four year old male and I have mild cerebral palsy, we live in a world of standards and double standards.

A Standard could be defined as a flag or banner, it could also be defined as a way of living. Lets look at the holiness standard, people who are holiness if strict holiness do not have a television, radio, do not wear jewelry, wear long sleeves, women have to have hair that sweep the floor, and it’s a sin if men have any hair at all. However, the holiness at least has a standard. Lately its hard to tell the “world” from the “church” with how some people dress in church you would wonder if they was a Christian.

Nevertheless, we live a place where there is no standard. However we still have laws we have to follow courts and cops have ensured that so we live in a society of a double standard.
Christians won’t commit adultery however they will spend church money to watch someone commit adultery on television or in the movies. Cable leaves little to the imagination now of days. Abortion is murder however we won’t put the woman who is murdering her child in jail nevertheless we will put some one who shoots and murders some one in jail. Kobe Bryant allegedly raped a girl however we are giving the rape victim and Bryant a double standard. Mr. Clinton even did drugs and dodges the war of VIETNAM and somehow gets elected President. William Clinton, lied under oath lied to the American people, however gets slapped on the wrist he is impeached but not removed from office. It is a double standard.

I have moved out of home and been in a low-income apartment for over a year however now
I’m being accused of walking outside in my underwear/boxers. I have more respect for myself and for other to walk outside in my underwear/boxers. Plus, there was a girl last year who was out in some boxers/underwear all last year and another girl as recently as July 29 Wednesday night in boxers/underwear. However I’m being asked to move out because of this allegation of a double standard.

I have never been forced to go to church because I know not to miss church however I do have some friends who force their family to go to church and others they do not force to go to church.

This is a double standard.

People “relax” in different ways I have my way of “relaxing” and people do that all the time around here. I have my own way of “relaxing.”

In fact I will go as far as say I’m being held with a double standard and being lied upon and this is no game. I guess I kind of asked for this one with the neighbors and all cause I “loaned” them money and opened up and trusted them to much. I’m still learning and living when we stop learning we die….

IF IT IS A FIGHT THEY WANT THEN IT’S A FIGHT THEY WILL GET CAUSE I DON’T PLAY NO GAMES

This has been a learning process of Joshua Time
“I shall not be I shall not be moved like a tree planted by the water I shall not be moved”

That line is how my neighbors are and how I am now.

WE NOW WALK THAT ISLE THIS HAS BEEN A NO GAME ZONE BECAUSE I DON’T PLAY NO GAMES

THE FOUNDATIONS

I’m a twenty-four year old male and I have mild cerebral palsy, which was not my choice to have; we make choices everyday. Last year I chose to move out of home and into a low-income apartment.

I have learned a lot since moving and made some choices since moving. First I’ll give you the readers some things I have learned. My “friends” I got put on SSI because no one would hire me and because of my condition. I cried when I got my first check because I never wanted to be on it. However, the system does work it also has its flaws. It works by getting people evaluated before giving them anything. I have some “friends” who make over 600.00 a month the other “friend” is trying to get on disability. So they can work under the table. This “friend” has been denied disability more than once. These “friends” are the exact reason I did not want on SSI. The system also works by giving people on SSI a medical card. But some people like my “friends” abuse that very privilege of a medical card. My “friends” say they are broke all the time yet the one is trying to get on disability and the other one makes over 600.00 a month. My other “friend” has worked before and continues to work yet is trying to get on disability. Nevertheless, I’m on the system now. I have an income on the system and I give money to church from my income that I have. Its time for people to tell people that can work to get there but to working… People had told me about these “friends” however I never listened. These “friends” are the exact reason I never wanted to be on SSI because I knew people abused the system I just never knew how much the system was abused. The system is abused almost if not more than Bill Clinton abused his power.
The system has let me down by giving SSI to any one that says they are disabled.
People make a choice to abuse the system.

People also make a choice to be homosexual no one is born homosexual or lesbian. People make a choice to drink alcohol no one is forced to drink. People make choices to have sex unless your raped your not forced to have sex. People choose to get pregnant and abort the child, abortion is murder I don’t care how far a long a child is and it’s a child not a fetes. Abortion is murder just as much as shooting some one and killing them is murder. People make a choice to vote and vote republican or democrat, I thought we was all “one nation under God.” If people don’t vote they don’t need to complain about how the election went.

People make choices as In wrestling, one of the famous sayings of the group called the IV HORSEMEN mainly Ric Flair and Arn Anderson is “And that is the bottom line.” As one great man said, “This is not bought and paid for this is a real life situation.” This same great man said, “This might be my only shot so I am going to make it my best.” Choices, Ric Flair made a professional choice to come back to wrestling.

My mom makes a choice not to take her medicine therefore, she yells at everyone, she is critical to everyone, and just be very hateful. All because the choice not to take her medicine. I would ask people to call my mom and make sure she took it. however on hell would be raised again. I have told people that I would rather take her medicine and be nice or get cancer and be nice because

Like I said earlier I made a choice to move out of the comforts of home into an apartment. I have learned a lot from that choice. I have learned people will lie to get people evicted and people use their power to get and try to get people evicted.

I made a choice and dyed my hair blonde. .

I have to have surgery, which is not by my choice in a way it is by my choice. I wanted to make mom happy and get her to shut up so much that I’m risking my life right now by having neck surgery.

We make choices everyday and as my best friend said, “For every decision/choice we make there are rewards and consequences for that decision/choice.”

WE LIVE WE DIE WE WALK THAT FINE LINE ISLE AND PLAY GAMES BUT I DON’T PLAY NO GAMES

THE FOUNDATIONS

I’m a twenty-four year old male, and I have mild cerebral palsy. The wet/dry petition is going around so London, Kentucky can have another wet/dry vote on the November ballot. It has been approximately eight to ten years ago since there was the last wet/dry vote on the ballot of an election. I was in my eighth grade of middle school or my sophomore year of high school when the last vote went around. I had voted in school election to stay dry. However, let us look is there even such a thing as a “dry” county? No there is not such a thing as a “dry” county. Bootleggers and other nuts go to places like Richmond and now Corbin and bring alcohol in to London.

There are some positives and negatives to the wet/dry vote being on the November election ballot. Lets look at the positives first. The wet/dry vote could be on and London is voted to stay “dry” and it not be in the election ballot for another eight to ten years. Another positive could be London go wet and the bootleggers go out of business because people will have to show ID in order to buy alcohol. Another positive is that if London does go wet the “big name” restraunts will come to London.

Now the negatives to the wet/dry vote being on the November election ballot. If London is voted “dry” again the wet/dry vote will not be on another election ballot for another eight to ten years. Another negative to the wet/dry vote being on the ballot and London goes wet cops will have more fun tracking down drunk drivers. Another negative is that they will be more drunks on the street. Another negative for the wet/dry vote on the November ballot is London could go wet and there would be more roadblocks. See I have already got stopped for my driving and because of my cerebral palsy that effects my speech and walking cops could judge me as “drunk.”

In the end its you the voters that decide this election. The negatives outweigh the positives. I have tried to be fair and balanced in this election year column. I voted in a school election that London Kentucky stay “dry.” In my first wet/dry vote and me being a Christian will vote to stay “dry” again. Churches should already be preaching against the wet/dry vote.

THE LONDON KENTUCKY VOTERS VOTED IN NOVEMBER OF 2004 TO SERVE ALCOHOL IN THE RESTRAUNTS THAT SEAT OVER 100 PEOPLE.
WHY? SO WE COULD BE EQUAL WITH CORBIN KENTUCKY. IT IS POSSIBLE

I WAS TOLD TO REWRITE MY STORY ON KMART AND WALMART THE MOTORIZED WHEELCHAIR PROBLEM AND MY COLUMN WOULD BE PUBLISHED I DID AS YOU SEE AND IT WAS NEVER PUBLISHED...

THE FOUNDATIONS

I’m a 24-year-old man I have cerebral palsy, which effects my walking. In 2002 I was in a wheelchair. There are two “major big name store” on the south end of London, Kentucky that have motorized wheelchair these motorized wheelchairs make it easier to get around in stores
In fact my neighbors screwed me over by getting themselves a scooter using my medical card. I eventually I had the scooter took back.

For the past six[6] to eight [8] months one of the “major big named stores” on the South end of London, Kentucky there motorized wheelchair has been down or “out of order.” I asked this “major big named store” when it would be fixed they said, that they had ordered a battery for it and it would be fixed soon. That has been about a month ago.

To be “fair and balanced” the other “major big named store” on the South end of London, Kentucky this “major big name store” has about 10 or 15 motorized wheelchairs. This “major big named store” had a similar problem and one of their employees was rude. I had attempted to contact this ”major big named stores” manager but could never get with him.

One of these “major big named stores have fixed their motorized wheelchair problems. However, the other “major big named store” has yet to fix the problem if this “major big named store” can not get a new battery for there motorized wheel chair then maybe they should get another motorized wheelchair of some sort. This “major big named store” on the South end of London, Kentucky does have a wheelchair and its manual with no feet.

If people used the manual wheelchair that would mean the person in the wheelchair would still be using their feet.

I understand that one of these “major big named stores” is having financial problems and all. However, for people like my 66-year-old grand mother who has arthritis and myself, I have a hard time walking as it is; it is hard for us to walk around in stores.

I’m asking the people to tell these “big named stores” on the South end of London, Kentucky that its time. Time to do something; tell “them” it is time as well time to be kind courteous and fair. I had tried to get up with the “major big named store” the store that was rude to me, this stores manager but never got him.

All of this over a motorized wheelchair lets send a message and say it is time to fix the problems.

All of this in the name of fairness I have tried to be “fair and balanced” giving thoughts on both “giants”

THIS IS AN EMAIL GOING AROUND

Subject: A Wake Up Call To All Americans

Dear Friends,

Yesterday gasoline prices went up AGAIN to
$2.09 per gallon and it's only March. The faceless and nameless
people that control all the oil, did it to us again.
I have continually watched the prices at the pump drop 4 or
5 cents and then raise 14 to 20 cents. By the time Summer gets
here, we will be paying $2.50 or more per gallon of gas.

I have always heard that Americans are a proud people and
won't be messed with. Anytime that there has been some country that

threatened us, Americans always say "Pull Together, We won't Let
Anyone Pick On Us". If this be the case, then why are we as
Americans allowing ourselves to be picked on over this and have our
pockets picked as well ???

To those of you that earn more than $25,000 per year, a tank

of gas may be pocket change to you, but to those of us that earn
less than $25,000 per year, it has become a decission to make. Do
we buy enough gas to get to work each week or do we eat
?????????????

To fill a 20 gallon gas tank @ $2.09 per gallon = $41.80.
There are more people working for the good ole minimum wage than
not. Those people must work an entire day just to fill up their gas

tank in order to drive to work to make enough money to fill up
their gas tank in order to drive to
work...................................

Come on folks, this is ridiculous. It's time ONCE AGAIN for
Americans to pull together and stop this pocket picking. I am
asking EVERYONE to totally avoid every gas sation in the country on

March 11, 2005. Get your gasoline any day but that day !!!!!!!
ALSO, do not buy anything else from these sations either.
Cigarettes, candybars, potatochips, cookie, doughnut, soda pop,
milk, etc, etc....... You can buy any of these items from any
Grocery store.

It's time to put a stop to this !!!!!!!!!!!!
If you think that it doesn't affect you then think about the
following.

If this is allowed to continue, When you order that pizza to

be delivered, you will absorb the cost of the fuel the delivery
driver burns to get it to you....... If you have a medical
emergency, you will absorb the cost of the fuel that the ambulance
burns to come and get you....... If you go out to eat you will
absorb the cost of the fuel that the food service trucks burn to
supply the restrurant........ it goes on and on.

Okay, it's your decission. Will you join together and fight
this or are you going to decide that you are just one person and
you don't count ???????? IT TAKES EVERYONE TOGETHER TO GET
SOMETHING DONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One more time............... DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM ANY GAS

STATION ON MARCH 11,2005.

Please pass this along to all the people you know. We have
one week to get this from coast to coast.

LETS NOT BUY GAS ONE DAY OUT OF EACH MONTH UNTIL WE GET SOME ONES ATTENTION.

I WROTE THE FOLLOWING IN 2004 OF MAY AND JUNE

THE FOUNDATIONS

I’m a twenty-four year old male, I’m on SSI because I have mild cerebral palsy I would like every one to know gas prices are too high. Gas prices are too high for low-income people and besides the point too high period.

I see gas prices here in the London, Kentucky area are 1.75 is the highest gas price. At the peak of the Summer driving season which was in mid June gas was as high as 1.95 regular gas and 2.05 premium gas. There went an email going around that said don’t buy gas for a day however people fill up earlier that week or the day before is not going to hurt the gasoline industry.

In California gas got as high as 3.50 close to 4.00 a gallon as far as I know its still high.

In Corbin, Kentucky gas is [15] fifteen cents cheaper than here in London meaning gas is 1.60 a gallon. For people like me who are on SSI that saves us money and time having to fill up every week to every two weeks. If I’m lucky gas will hold me 2 weeks. Most of the time any one nor I is lucky enough to hold gas in their car for 2 weeks.

I have two suggestions of thought for those who have problems with the high gas prices.
The first suggestion of thought is don’t fill up but for every two [2] weeks. If we car-pool and do not fill up on gas a lot that would show the gasoline industry people mean business.

The second suggestion of thought is go to Corbin, Kentucky and fill up on gas. Corbin is like [15] fifteen minutes away for some and for others ten minutes away.

Lets think practical for those who need to save gas and money the ideal thing would be car-pool and fill up every two- [2] weeks.

For those who have about 15 minutes to spare/waist depending on the person go to Corbin get gas at Corbin its cheaper all it takes is time fifteen minutes of your time other than that you save money depending on where one gets gasoline at.

I HATE TO WAISTE TIME AND MONEY AND I DON’T PLAY NO GAMES THIS HAS BEEN ANOTHER GAME ZONE
