Huricane Rita made landfall about 3am eastern time. She was a cataglory 3. Huricane season is not over yet we could still have 3 or 4 more named storms. With one or two of those storms hitting the Gulf coast again.

After Katrina hit gas prices went up to over 3.00+ a gallon, it is being reported on foxnews and msnbc and cnn here are the site links www.foxnews.com www.msnbc.com www.cnn.com that gas could go up over 5.00+ a gallon. 25% of oil refineries are on the Tx. and La. Gulf coast; this is why gas could go up. ROUND TWO

First it was Katrina, now it is Rita. Katrina was a major huricane and at one time a cataglory five. Rita is a cataglory five and has been for a good day and a half now. Katrina topped Huricane Camile hitting La. and Miss. Rita is expected to top Carl. Katrina and Rita are both bench mark storms. Last year 2004, it was Florida that took the tropical storms and huricanes. This year it is the gulf coast.

Lets not forget that tornadoes are more than a possibility with the huricanes and earthquakes are very possible natural disasters.

I think La. is going to get hit again, along with Tx. this is another huge storm. The storm was set to just hit Texas but now just the possible hit has moved more to the east.

Rita had one of the lowest mb pressures that I remebe seeing at 895mb.

I post this to warn all bout the storm and the very possible gas rise.
