JOSHUA TIME 763

God determines who walks into your life....it's up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go."

Take 60 seconds and give this a shot! All you do is simply say the
Following small prayer for the person who sent you this.
Father, God bless all my friends in whatever it is that You know they may need This day! And may their life be full of your peace, prosperity, and power as he/she seeks to have a closer relationship with you.
Amen.

Then send it on to five other people, including the one who sent it to You. Within hours you caused a multitude of people to pray for other People. Then sit back and watch the power of God work in your life.

P. S. Five is good, but more is better.

Christians - By Maya Angelou

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'."
I'm whispering "I was lost,
Now I'm found and forgiven."

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
And need His strength to carry on.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
And need God to clean my mess.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible
But, God believes I am worth it.

When I say.. "I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches
So I call upon His name.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner
Who received God's good grace, somehow!

Share this with somebody who already has this understanding, as
reinforcement. But more importantly, share this with those who do not
have a clear understanding of what it means to be a Christian, so that
the myth that Christians think they are "perfect" or "better than
others"can be dispelled.

THE REAL BATTLE

“…stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood…but against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” -- Ephesians 6:11-12

In this day of attack against the institution of the family by fornicators, adulterers, homosexuals, and a host of others, we can be easily deceived into thinking that the people who are the ‘mouthpieces’ of these wrongs are our enemies. This is simply not true.

Since the Garden of Eden, our real enemy has been Satan and the fallen angels he controls. His attacks on the Truth, not the individual through whom that attack comes, is the real threat.

The real battle has always been: Do we believe the words of God or not. Is the Bible “truth without any mixture of error”? Or does it contain errors? This battle always determines the fate of nations. Earlier Americans firmly believed this.

Daniel Webster, one of America’s greatest statesmen, warned us, “If religious (i.e. Christian) books are not widely circulated among the masses in this country, I do not know what is going to become of us as a nation. If truth be not diffused, error will be; if God and His Word are not known and received, the devil and his works will gain ascendancy . . . If the power of the Gospel is not felt throughout the…land, anarchy and misrule…corruption and darkness will reign without…end.”

LET US PRAY that we, as Kentuckians and Americans, will return to believe the Bible as Truth; and walk out its teachings in education, government, and economy as well as in our own individual lives.

Let Us Pray is a daily (Mon-Fri) e-mail publication of The Family Foundation of Kentucky. Feel free to pass these e-mails on to like-minded individuals OR if you wish to no longer receive these e-mails, please respond with “Remove” in the subject line.

Worry, or Worship?

Today's Scripture

"We have no power against this large army that is attacking us. We don't know what to do, so we look to you for help." (2 Chronicles 20:12)

The enemy would love to get you worrying instead of worshiping God. When the devil brings you thoughts of worry, anxiety and fear, let them be a reminder for you to thank God that His answer is on the way. Say, "Devil, thank you for reminding me," and then say, "Father, I thank You that You are at work on my behalf." That's what King Jehoshaphat did. The people of Judah were surrounded by three major armies. It didn't look like they had a chance. This godly king was probably bombarded with thoughts of fear and anxiety. But he gathered the people together, lifted his eyes toward heaven, and prayed the simple prayer in today's verse. Jehoshaphat's prayer was answered. God told the people to march right in to the enemy's camp, singing and shouting praises on their way. Notice, they weren't worrying—they were worshiping—and God delivered them. Do you need a victory in your life? Then learn to worship instead of worry!

A Prayer for Today

God, You are truly the great God who is the Provider of everything we need, and much more. I want to be a worshiper instead of a worrier, so today I claim Your promise of deliverance from thoughts of fear or anxiety. Thank You for giving me the victory. In Jesus' Name. Amen
