What You'll Need
To refer a friend online, you must be a Nextel subscriber and have a MyNextel registration profile, complete with a registered phone and email address. Please
register now if you do not already have one set up. This capability is not yet available to Sprint PCS customers.

1. Fill out a
referral tear-off card with your name and either your Nextel® Walkie-Talkie number, or Nextel or Sprint PCS phone number.

new Sprint PCS phone.
2. Give it to friends, family or colleagues.
2. After activation, have them dial #REF on their Sprint PCS handset, and follow the voice prompts.
3. Have them purchase a Nextel phone and rate plan through the
Nextel online store or by calling 1-888-639-0875. Make sure they reference either your Nextel® Walkie-Talkie number, or Nextel or Sprint PCS phone number.

1. Find the Nextel Walkie-Talkie number, or Nextel or Sprint PCS wireless number (Referral Code), of the person that referred you. It will be included in either your referral email from Sprint or the tear-off card from your friend.
1. Dial #REF on your new Sprint PCS handset and follow the voice prompts.
2. If you're purchasing your phone and rate plan through the
Nextel online store, you must enter your Referral Code in the "Promotional Code" input box prior to checkout. After paying your first bill, in full and on time, you'll receive your $25 service credit.
2. Be sure you have the Nextel Walkie-Talkie number, or Nextel or Sprint PCS wireless number, of the person who referred you. Once you both have maintained active service for 30 days, you'll receive your $25 service credit.
3. You can also call 1-888-639-0875 or visit any Nextel or Sprint PCS retail store. Just keep your confirmation email or tear-off card handy.
1If new subscriber purchases Nextel service: To receive your "referral credit", your friend must set up a new account, upon the purchase of a Nextel phone and rate plan. Referring customer receives $25 Visa® debit card and referred customer receives $25 service credit 60-90 days after referred customer pays first bill in full and on time.
2If new subscriber purchases Sprint PCS service: Completed referrals must be received by Sprint within 60 days of referred person's activation to receive credit. Both the referring and referred subscribers will receive a $25 service credit after their accounts have been active for 30 days. Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing.
