JOSHUA TIME 310

Profound
This is freaky, interesting and scary all in one!Read down to the very bottom, you don't want to miss this!VERY INTERESTING -1. The garden of Eden was in Iraq.2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq, was the cradle ofcivilization! 3. Noah built the ark in Iraq.4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq.5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq!6. Isaac's wife Rebekah is from Nahor, which is in Iraq !7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq.8. Jonah preached in Nineveh - which is in Iraq.9. Assyria, which is in Iraq, conquered the ten tribes of Israel.10. Amos cried out in Iraq!11. Babylon, which is in Iraq, destroyed Jerusalem.12. Daniel was in the lion's den in Iraq!13. The three Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq (Jesushad been in Iraq also as the fourth person in the fieryfurnace!)14. Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the "writing on thewall" in Iraq.15. Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captiveintoIraq. 16. Ezekiel preached in Iraq.17. The wise men were from Iraq.18. Peter preached in Iraq.19. The "Empire of Man" described in Revelation is calledBabylon, which was a city in Iraq! And you have probably seen this one. Israel is the nation mostoften mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation issecond? It isIraq! However, that is not the name that is usedin the Bible. The names used in the Bible are Babylon, LandofShinar, and Mesopotamia. The word Mesopotamia means betweenthe two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and ! EuphratesRivers. The nameIraq, means country with deep roots.Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a verysignificant country in the Bible. No other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecyassociated with it than Iraq. And also... This is something to think about! Since America istypically represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read upon his Muslimpassages...The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)Koran (9:11) - For it is written that a son of Arabia wouldawaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be feltthroughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the peopletrembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of theEagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.(Note the verse number!) Hmmmmmmm?! God Bless you all Amen !

JOSHUA TIME TRUTH BUT THEY CAN HANDLE IT

MY TAKE ON THE EKU HANDICAP SITUATION

By; Joshua M. Robinson

JOSHUA TIME

My name is Joshua Robinson and I’m a 25-year-old man I have cerebral palsy, which effects my walking and my speech. I’m a too the point writer and sometimes too blunt of a person in my writings and emails.

The no spin facts are EKU has a 2300.00 tution that does not include book or parking permits. This is something EKU can and will handle. I was told today that I could handle using my wheelchair on my own. That is good to know since my classes are all over campus. I know we are adults and responsible for getting to class. However EKU and other schools are responsible for making learning accesible and accomadational. I know several people who are hanndicap including my brother whom I will not tell his disability. I just came from Somerset Community College let me tell you it was a little better. EKU has more students than somerset, tution is more than Somerset, and EKU has more student than Somerset. EKU requires students to have a school email account and for what so they can make more money. They could be using the money to make the school more handicap accessible however that would be too much. Teresea Belluscio the disabilities coordinator said I could handle pushing myself in a wheelchair. I’m aware the school has had to move several classes because of the accesibility. Teresea might deal with people who have ADA but ADA is not the only handicap. I sent the following to Teresea, I'm Joshua Robinson I use a wheelchair a lot. because I had major back surgery. I am 25 years old, and a Journalism major. I use this email address which is jrobinson01@adelphia.net and slicric147@yahoo.com My id is 901314856. We can meet Thursday at 430pm. I have a math quiz on Thursday She has not said if she or some one in class could give it to me. I need some one to help me with the wheelchair. I need a note taker or a copy of your notes. I also need oral tests and longer testing time. I'll also need to use my laptop a table to use it on. I was told you could make arrangements for me to get lunxh or something. I'll also need help with my wheelchair. Here is more information on me... Want your friends to rate you? Send them this direct link: http://www.hotornot.com/r/?eid=KERUA8E&key=VWB rate me please I'm a 25yr old male I have never had a irlfriend. I live in Dogwood hills 218, London, Ky. I am very liberal mildly conservative. I have brown hair brown eyes 6'2" and I weigh 135lbs. I have cerebral palsy with a very minor speech problem and minor limp. I love to watch wrestling fav wrestler is Ric Flair. I love to write, if you want to email me feel free to email slicric147@yahoo.com or im me my yahoo id is slicric147. Feel free to call me 6068624963 I am up late. here is my info I created a website and I was wantting everyone that would to check it out I write everything on this site... CHECK MY SITE/BLOG OUT ITS AN IMFORMATIVE AND INTERESTING WITH MY THOUGHTS AND COLUMNS PLEASE STAY A WHILE THE SITE IS http://www.slicric147.blogspot.com/ I AM REAL I AM JUST TRYING TO GET PEOPLE TO CHECK MY SITE OUT.

Teresea and the EKU has had over 100 years to get accomadations for students with disabilities.

I went to my newspaper practicum class on Tuesday, January 24, 2005. I went from AC building to Donavan however to get to Donavan I had to go thru Model the doors are locked on the Model school building and I had to go thru the grass mud and all today which is not fair to me or any other student.

It was asked to one of the professors what if a student sues the school for the nonaccesible accomadations to students with disabilities the professor said the student would probably win. Maybe some one should sue it might wake EKU and other colleges up. I’m not talking about a hand out all I’m saying is make things accessible to students accomadate the students
needs/wants.

Some of the building do not have automatic door opener buttons other buildings do not have elavators lets not forget about ramps. How can students learn when they are wore out from going one class to the other? It is impossible. It took me 13minutes to get from one building to other and that was with some one pushing my wheelchair.

I can handle it Teresea well I’d like you to get in a wheelchair and push yourself and make it from one building to the next in 15minutes. I just had back surgery I’m too dumb to take a break yet to smart to give up I never say die because I will die.

We have got people who can not see. However, the school acts like they can let me tell you have you ever had to go from big television to read your book your eyes hurt so bad you get headaches and your expected to use a computer because you have one but you can not see to use it.

We have people who can not hear yet they have to read lips they have a little normalcy to their life

We have people like me who can not talk good and I have to write things down on my laptop for teachers to understand me.

I am also using a wheelchair and that is why I can relate to the wheelchair problems so much.

Some one needs to rise up let the college know there is something wrong. Some one needs to let the disabilities people and coordinators at EKU and other colleges know there is something wrong with a 2300.00 tution books that cost 100.00 a piece no handicap accesible parking and no accesible accomadations for students with disabilities.

Like I said I just transferred here from Somerset Community College they had simular problems, however things were different there. Somerset Community did have automatic door opener buttons if I’m not mistaken it’s a federal requirement. They did have ramps that was not 15degrees or so steap it would be hard to walk, push some one in a wheeelchair, or push yourself in a wheelchair.

I went to Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee in 1999 to 2001 and things was a little better there not because I was there but because things was taken care of.

It’s been a week since school has started and no accesible accomadations of yet. If EKU is going to charge us students 2300.00 for tution, include in that an email address that some people do not even check, and allow barnes and noble to sell the books at the book store; then they should be able to make the campus and the buildings more handicap accesible and accomadate the students needs.

I’m not being hateful just showing from a perspective from a student who is "handicap." I don’t really consider myself handicap just blessed to be different. I apologize if I am sounding as if I’m hateful.

I have emailed Teresea more than once and she wants me to come in face to face so we can "discuss" what she can help me with and it already over a week into the semester.

I’m sure I’m not the first or the only student to have these problems but I’m sure going to make it known. I drive and what am I going to do when I start driving to when my classes are all over campus. I saw people parked in the handicap spots Tuesday, January 24, 2006 and they did not get any tickets or get towed I never saw no handicap stickers.

I was going to my Math class one in the WALLACE BUILDING it has an elavator the sign on it says "Be courteous to students with disabilities use the stairs." Their was a pack of students who got in the elavator and I had to wait to the next time to go up on the elavator. My Math teacher does not like people to be able to be late for her class and I do have to come from the CAMPBELL BUILDING. With some one new to the campus and new with the school they could get lost and confused.

For people who can not see its hard to trust people when you can not see and to when you have been stole off of before.

I guess truth does hurt but they can handle it!!!

I know life can get hard and its easy to get bitter nevertheless we should not complain about something we are not willing to take a stand and do something about I have done my part by writing this. I hope others will stand with me and tell the school tell some one we need to make the campus and the class room buildings more accesible and accomadate people with disabilities.

This is not against Teresea nevertheless schools, colleges, and universities who have tution high they should have the campus and school buildings handicap accesible and accomadate students with special needs.

If you want to email me feel free to do so slicric147@yahoo.com

Consider These 3 Thoughts (1) Zero Gravity When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered that ball-point pens would not work in zero gravity. To combat this problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion developing a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside-down, on almost any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to over 300 C. The Russians used a pencil. Your taxes are due again - - enjoy paying them. (2) Our Constitution "They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq. Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, and it's worked for over 200 years. And, we're not using it anymore." (3) Ten Commandments The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments in a Courthouse is that you cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery" and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians. It creates a hostile work environment.

Ask God
If any lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally."I'll go with you. I'll go before you.I'll be by your side. I'll be your comforter and guide.Walk with me and you'll never walk alone." Love, God

A voyaging ship was wrecked during a storm at sea and only two of the men on it were able to swim to a small, desert like island. The two survivors, not knowing what else to do, agree that they had no other recourse but to pray to God. However, to find out whose prayer was more powerful, they agreed to divide the territory between them and stay on opposite sides of the island. The first thing they prayed for was food. The next morning, the first man saw a fruit-bearing tree on his side of the land, and he was able to eat its fruit. The other man's parcel of land remained barren. After a week, the first man was lonely and he decided to pray for a wife. The next day, another ship was wrecked, and the only survivor was a woman who swam to his side of the island. On the other side of the island, there was nothing. Soon the first man prayed for a house, clothes, more food. The next day, like magic, all of these were given to him. However, the second man still had nothing. Finally, the first man prayed for a ship, so that he and his wife could leave the island. In the morning, he found a ship docked at his side of the island. The first man boarded the ship with his wife and decided to leave the second man on the island. He considered the other man unworthy to receive God's blessings, since none of his prayers had been answered. As the ship was about to leave, the first man heard a voice from heaven booming, "Why are you leaving your companion on the island?" "My blessings are mine alone, since I was the one who prayed for them," the first man answered. "His prayers were all unanswered and so he does not deserve anything." "You are mistaken!" the voice rebuked him. "He had only one prayer, which I answered. If not for that, you would not have received any of my blessings." "Tell me," the first man asked the voice, "what did he pray for that I should owe him anything?" "He prayed that all your prayers be answered." For all we know, our blessings are not the fruits of our prayers alone, but those of another praying for us. This is too good not to share. With obedience come blessings. My prayer for you today is that all your prayers are answered. Be blessed. "What you do for others is more important than what you do for yourself" This was shared with me by a friend, I hope you will share with your friends.

TRUE-ISMS

I live in my own little world. But it's OK. They know me here.
Just remember...if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.

Wouldn't you know it...Brain cells come and brain cells go, but FAT cells live forever.

Now that food has replaced sex in my life, I can't even get into my own pants.Marriage changes passion. Suddenly you're in bed with a relative.I saw a woman wearing a sweat shirt with "Guess" on it. So I saidImplants?" She hit me.I don't do drugs. I get the same effect just standing up fast.I got a sweater for Christmas. I really wanted a screamer or a moaner.I don't approve of political jokes. I've seen too many of them getelected.I love being married. It's so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life.Every time I walk into a singles bar I can hear Mom's wise words: Don't pick that up, you don't know where it's been!"A good friend will come and bail you out of jail...but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "WOW...that wa s fun!"I signed up for an exercise class and was told to wear loose-fittingclothing. If I HAD any loose-fitting clothing, I wouldn't have signed up in the first place! When I was young we used to go "skinny dipping," now I just "chunky dunk."Don't argue! with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference. Why is it that our children can't read a Bible in school, but they can in prison? (good point)If raising children was going to be easy, it never would have started with something called LABOR! (true!) Why do I have to swear on the Bible in court when the Ten Commandments cannot be displayed in a federal building?Bumper sticker of the year: "If you can read this, thank a teacher....andsince it's in English, thank a soldier." (Amen!)
