NIGHT WATCH------
A nurse took the tired, anxious serviceman to the bedside. "Your son is
here," she said to the old man. She had to repeat the words several
times before the patient's eyes opened. Heavily sedated because of the
pain of his heart attack, he dimly saw the young uniformed Marine standing
outside the oxygen tent. He reached out his hand.

The Marine wrapped his toughened fingers around the old man's limp
ones, squeezing a message of love and encouragement.
The nurse brought a chair so that the Marine could sit beside the bed.
All through the night the young Marine sat there in the poorly lighted
ward, holding the old man's hand and offering him words of love and
strength.

Occasionally, the nurse suggested that the Marine move away and rest
awhile. He refused. Whenever the nurse came into the ward, the Marine
was oblivious of her and of the night noises of the hospital - the
clanking of the oxygen tank, the laughter of the night staff members
exchanging greetings, the cries and moans of the other patients.

Now and then she heard him say a few gentle words. The dying man said
nothing, only held tightly to his son all through the night. Along
towards dawn, the old man died. The Marine released the now lifeless
hand he had been holding and went to tell the nurse. While she did what
she had to do, he waited.

Finally, she returned. She started to offer words of sympathy, but the
Marine interrupted her. "Who was that man?" he asked. The nurse was
startled, "He was your father," she answered. "No, he wasn't," the Marine
replied. "I never saw him before in my life."
"Then why didn't you say something when I took you to him?"

"I knew right away there had been a mistake, but I also knew he needed his
son, and his son just wasn't here. When I realized that he was too sick to
tell whether or not I was his son, knowing how much he needed me, I stayed"

The next time someone needs you ... just be there. Stay. We are not
human beings going through a temporary spiritual experience. We are
spiritual beings going through a temporary human experience.

PLEASE PASS THIS ONE ON AND GOD WILL BLESS YOU.
THIS IS WHAT WE ARE PUT ON THIS EARTH TO DO ANYWAY. RIGHT ?
HAVE A GREAT DAY AND BLESS SOMEONE ELSE IN SOME LITTLE WAY TODAY!
GOD IS SO GOOD!

JOSHUA TIME 701

You are cordially invited to renew your membership as my 2007 Jubilee Breakthrough Covenant Partner. When you do ... you can announce your year of blessings with an authentic replica of a Jubilee shofar.

It is crafted to look just like the ram's horn that was used to announce for the children of Israel the beginning of the Year of Jubilee.

It will be your daily reminder that 2007 is your Year of Jubilee!

I will rush it to you when you re-commit to becoming my 2007 Jubilee Breakthrough Covenant Partner today by giving your first gift of $50 or more. After that, you simply give as God provides.

Leviticus 25:9 says, "Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound." The trumpet - or "shofar" - of ancient Israel announced a year of amazing blessing!

This year marks my 50th year on earth, and the Lord has impressed me to follow the Old Testament example and declare 2007 as our YEAR OF JUBILEE!

I believe God has revealed to me THREE strategic blessings He wants my 2007 Breakthrough Covenant Partners to experience this year. I'm committed to stand in agreement with my 2007 Partners every day this year for them to come to pass:
A JUBILEE BLESSING FOR YOUR FAMILY! God cares deeply about families, and I believe He is going to provide your greatest family blessing this year. Perhaps it's salvation for a lost loved one, healing for a family member or restoration and healing in your marriage. Whatever it is, God is about to pour out a staggering Jubilee Blessing in your home.
A JUBILEE FINANCIAL BLESSING! I'm believing for the greatest financial miracle this ministry has ever seen - and for YOU to receive a similar miracle in your own finances. Perhaps it's college for your children or the down payment on a new home. Whatever it is, I want to believe with you for it to manifest this year.
THE JUBILEE FULFILLMENT OF YOUR PERSONAL DREAM! Your dream may be a personal desire you've always had to begin a new career or to own your own home. Whatever it is, this is your year to take the limits of God, because He wants to bring your dream to pass simply to demonstrate just how much He loves you!
I am going to pray that God will bless you with all three Jubilee Blessings when you covenant with me as my 2007 Jubilee Breakthrough Covenant Partner and give your first gift of $50 or more today!

When you renew your Breakthrough Covenant Partnership, you commit to:
Pray for me and this ministry.
Support Breakthrough and our outreaches all over the world as God allows. Once you give your first gift of $50 or more, the amount and timing of your continued support remains between you and God.
My part of the covenant is to pray for you and to pour my life and ministry into you through the Breakthrough broadcast and the special monthly teaching letters, filled with practical, life-changing truth, for Partners only.

In this Year of Jubilee, I want to seal our covenant by sending you the beautiful shofar replica, and all of your other Partner benefits, as soon as you give your first gift of $50 or more.

I encourage you to accept this invitation to be my 2007 Jubilee Breakthrough Covenant Partner today. I hope to hear from you soon! God bless you! Pastor Rod Parsley

He Is God~

He is the First and Last,
The Beginning and the End!

He is the keeper of Creation and the Creator of all!
He is the Architect of the universe and the Manager of all times.
He always was, He always is, and He always will be ...
unmoved, Unchanged, Undefeated, and never Undone!

He was bruised and brought healing!
He was pierced and eased pain!
He was persecuted and brought freedom!
He was dead and brought life!
He is risen and brings power!
He reigns and brings Peace!
The world can't understand him,
The armies can't defeat Him,
The schools can't explain Him, and The leaders can't ignore Him.
Herod couldn't kill Him, The Pharisees couldn't confuse Him, and The people couldn't hold Him!
Nero couldn't crush Him, Hitler couldn't silence Him,
The New Age can't replace Him, and "Oprah" can't explain Him away!

He is light, love, longevity, and Lord.
He is goodness, Kindness, Gentleness, and God.
He is Holy, Righteous, mighty, powerful, and pure.

His ways are right,
His word is eternal,
His will is unchanging, and His mind is on me.
He is my Savior,
He is my guide, and He is my peace!
He is my Joy,
He is my comfort,
He is my Lord, and He rules my life!

I serve Him because His bond is love,
His burden is light, and His goal for me is abundant life.

I follow Him because He is the wisdom of the wise,
the power of the powerful,
the ancient of days, the ruler of rulers, the leader of leaders, the overseer of the overcomers, and is to come. And if that seems impressive to you, try this for size.

His goal is a relationship with ME!
He will never leave me,
never forsake me,
never mislead me,
never forget me,
never overlook me and
never cancel my appointment in His appointment book!

When I fall, He lifts me up!
When I fail, He forgives!
When I am weak, He is strong!
When I am lost, He is the way!
When I am afraid, He is my courage!
When I stumble, He steadies me!
When I am hurt, He heals me!
When I am broken, He mends me!
When I am blind, He leads me!
When I am hungry, He feeds me!
When I face trials, He is with me!
When I face persecution, He shields me!
When I face problems, He comforts me!
When I face loss, He provides for me!
When I face Death, He carries me Home!

He is everything for everybody everywhere, every time, and every way.

He is God, He is faithful. I am His, and He is mine!

My Father in heaven can whip the father of this world.
So, if you're wondering why I feel so secure, understand this...

He said it and that settles it.
God is in control, I am on His side,
and that means all is well with my soul.

Everyday is a blessing for GOD Is!

PASS THIS ON IF YOU BELIEVE IT...

I love the Lord and thank Him for all that He has done in my life; therefore I'm passing this on.

Psalm 55:22 --- you really need to read this.
>
> "Friends are God's way of taking care of us."
> This was written by a of Metro Denver Hospice Physician:
>
> I just had one of the most amazing experiences of my life, and wanted to
> share it with my family and dearest friends.
>
> I was driving home from a meeting this evening about 5, stuck in traffic
> on
> Colorado Blvd., and the car started to choke and s plutter and die - I
> barely managed to coast, into a gas station, glad only that I would not be
> blocking traffic and would have a somewhat warm spot to wait for the tow
> truck. It wouldn't even turn over. Before I could make the call, I saw a
> woman walking out of the "quickie mart" building, and it looked like she
> slipped on some ice and fell into a Gas pump, so I got out to see if she
> was
> okay.
>
> When I got there, it looked more like she had been overcome by sobs than
> that she had fallen; she was a young woman who looked really haggard with
> dark circles under her eyes. She dropped something as I helped her up, and
> I
> picked it up to give it to her. It was a nickel.
>
> At that moment, everything came into focus for me: the crying woman, the
> ancient Suburban crammed full of stuff with 3 kids in the back (1 in a car
> seat), and the gas pump reading $4.95.
>
> I asked her if she was okay and if she needed help, and she just kept
> saying, "I don't want my kids to see me crying," so we stood on the other
> side of the pump from her car. She said she was driving to California and
> that things were very hard for her right now. So I asked, "And you were
> praying?" That made her back away from me a little, but I assured her I
> was
> not a crazy person and said, "He heard you, and He sent me."
>
> I took out my card and swiped it through the card reader on the pump so
> she
> could fill up her car completely, and while it was fueling, walked to the
> next door McDonald's and bought 2 big bags of food, some gift certificates
> for more, and a big cup of coffee. She gave the food to the kids in the
> car, who attacked it like wolves, and we stood by the pump eating fries
> and
> talking a little.
>
> She told me her name, and that she lived in Kansas City . Her boyfriend
> left
> 2 months ago and she had not been able to make ends meet. She knew she
> wouldn't have money to pay rent Jan 1, and finally in desperation had
> finally called her parents, with whom she had not spoken in about 5 years.
> They lived in California and said she could come live with them and try to
> get on her feet there.
>
> So she packed up everything she owned in the car. She told the kids they
> were going to California for Christmas, but not that they were going to
> live
> there.
>
> I gave her my gloves, a little hug and said a quick prayer with her for
> safety on the road. As I was walking over to my car, she said, "So, are
> you
> like an angel or something?"
>
> This definitely made me cry. I said, "Sweetie, at this time of year angels
> are really busy, so sometimes God uses regular people."
>
> It was so incredible to be a part of someone else's miracle. And of
> course,
> you guessed it, when I got in my car it started right away and got me home
> with no problem. I'll put it in the shop tomorrow to check, but I suspect
> the mechanic won't find anything wrong.
>
> Sometimes the angels fly close enough to you that you can hear the flutter
> of their wings...
>
> Psalms 55:22 "Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee. He
> shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."
>
> My instructions were to pick four people that I wanted God to bless,
> especially for the months in 2007 , and I picked you.
>
> Please pass this to four people you want to be blessed and a copy back to
> me.
>
> This prayer is powerful and prayer is one of the best gifts we receive.
> There is no cost but a lot of rewards. Let's continue to pray for one
> another.
>
> Here is the prayer:
>
> "Father, I ask You to bless my children, grandchildren, friends, relatives
> and email buddies reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of
> your
> love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit this
> very
> moment. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there
> is
> self doubt, release a renewed confidence through Your grace, In Jesus'
> precious name. Amen."
>
> I know I picked more than four -- you can, too.
> When Satan is knocking at your door, simply say, "Jesus, could You please
> get that for me?"

AHHHHHHHHHH MEMORIES!!!

Close your eyes...And go back...
....Before the Internet or PC or the MAC......
....Before semi-automatics and crack....
....Before Playstation, SEGA, Super Nintendo, even before Atari...
....Before cell phones, CD's, DVD's, voicemail and e-mail....
....way back...
....way.....way....way back.....
I'm talkin' bout hide and seek at dusk
Red light, Green light
Red Rover....Red Rover.....
Playing kickball & dodgeball until the first...no...second...no...third
Streetlight came on
Ring around the Rosie
London Bridge
Hot potato
Hop Scotch
Jump rope
Duck....duck....GOOSE!!!
YOU'RE IT!!
Parents stood on the front porch and yelled (or whistled) for you to come home - no pagers or cell phones
Mother May I?
Hula Hoops
Seeing shapes in the clouds
Endless summer days and hot summer nights (no A/C) with the windows open
The sound of crickets
Running through the sprinkler
Cereal boxes with that GREAT prize in the bottom
Cracker jacks with the same thing
Ice pops with 2 sticks you could break and share with a friend
...but wait.....there's more....
Watchin' Saturday Morning cartoons
Fat Albert, Road Runner, Tom&Jerry, Heckle&Jeckle, Pink Panther, Richochet Rabbit,
Schoolhouse Rock
Watchin' Sunday morning oldies (Abbott & Costello, Three Stooges, Tarzan, Shirley Temple OR WONDERAMA!!)
Wonder Woman & Super Man Underoos
Catchin' lightning bugs in a jar
Chanukah nights
Your first day of school
Bedtime Prayers and Goodnight Kisses
Climbing trees
Swinging as high as you could to try and reach the sky
Getting an Ice Cream off the Good Humor Truck
A million mosquito bites and sticky fingers
Jumpin' down the steps
Jumpin' on the bed
Pillow fights
Sleep-overs
A 13" black and white TV in your room meant you were RICH
Runnin' till you were out of breath
Laughing so hard that your stomach hurt
Being tired from PLAYING
WORK: meant taking out the garbage or doing the dishes
Your first crush
Your first kiss (the one that you kept your mouth CLOSED and your eyes OPEN
Rainy days at school meant playing "Heads up 7UP" or hangman" in the classroom, remember that?
Oh, I'm not finished yet....
Kool-Aid was the drink of the summer
So was a swig from the hose
Giving your friends a ride on your handlebars
Wearing your new shoes on the first day of school
Class Field Trips with soggy sandwiches
When nearly everyone's mom was at home when the kids got there
When a quarter seemed like a fair allowance;
and another quarter a MIRACLE
When ANY parent could discipline ANY kid, or feed him, or use him
to carry groceries...And nobody, not even the kid, thought a thing of it
When being sent to the principal's office was nothing compared to
the fate that awaited you at home.
Basically, we were in fear for our lives but it wasn't because of
drive by shootings, drugs, gangs, etc.
Our parents and grandparents were a much bigger threat! And some of
us are still afraid of em!
Didn't that feel good? Just to go back and say, "Yeah, I remember
that!"
Well, let's keep going!!
Let's go back to the time when...
Decisions were made by going "eeny-meeny-miney-mo"
Mistakes were corrected by simply exclaiming, "do over!"
"Race issues" meant arguing about who ran the fastest.
Money issues were handled by whoever was the banker in "monopoly"
Catching fireflies could happily occupy an entire evening
It wasn't odd to have two or three "best" friends.
Being old, referred to anyone over 20.
The worst thing you could catch from the opposite sex was cooties.
Nobody was prettier than Mom
Scrapes and bruises were kissed by mom or grandma and made better
It was a big deal to finally be tall enough to ride the "big people" rides at the amusement park.
Getting a foot of snow was a dream come true.
Abilities were discovered because of a "double-dog-dare"
Spinning around, getting dizzy and falling down was cause for giggles.
The worst embarrassment was being picked last for a team.
Water balloons were the ultimate, ultimate weapon.
Older siblings were your worst tormentors, but also your fiercest protector
If you can remember most or all of these, then you have LIVED!!!
Pass this on to anyone who may need a break from their "grown up" life......I TRIPLE DOG DARE YA!!!!!!

JOSHUA TIME 696
