Hillary Clinton Shoots On President Bush, Harriet Miers

Senator and potential 2008 Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton attacked the Bush Administration for ruining the balanced budget and fiscal responsibility her husband created as commander-in-chief.

“Borrow and spend, borrow and spend, that’s all we’ve done the last four years,” Clinton said.
“This has been the only time in history that our president has taken us to war and cut taxes at the same time. It doesn’t add up.”
Clinton also criticized the policy in Iraq. While she does not support a deadline for removal of troops from Iraq, she believes it is imperative that Iraqi troops are made to be more involved in the effort.

“We need a much stronger commitment to the underlying values of America,” Clinton said.
To loud applause from the crowd at an Atlanta synagogue, she also addressed a question that Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers should be asked during the confirmation process.

“Please tell us one thing you disagree with the president on,” she said
